Follow the steps below to install or update the plugin.
- Ensure that you have admin permissions on the computer
- Close all instances of Excel. (If Excel is running during the uninstall then it hinders the uninstall process).
- If updating, uninstall the current version of the plugin by going to Add or Remove Programs in Windows
- If you face issues uninstalling the plugin
- Use Microsoft's Download Troubleshooter tool to troubleshoot the issue. The tool can be downloaded from https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed
- If you run into issues such as the installer saying a version of the application is already installed, delete the following folder and try running the installer again: C:\Program Files (x86)\APIX.XL.
- Once the applicable steps above have been completed, run the installer to install the plugin.
The application is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\APIX.XL
The application data files are saved in a folder named APIX in the Local App Data folder (C:\Users\<<username>>\AppData\Local\APIX)
